Sangha is a Fair Trade store and community gathering place. 

Fair Trade is intended to provide opportunities for artists and craftspeople to create their work independently and sell it at a fair price.  Click here to visit our Fair Trade Catalog (coming soon)

The Fair Trade communities Sangha works with are the following:

Cambodia – Wild Boar Creek / silk bags and scarves / land mine victims’ families

Ecuador – Bead weavings / jewelry made with seeds by the Amazonian Shuar whose land is rapidly being sold to   gas companies

Guatemala – Beaded Jewelry / fine woven textiles by groups in the Lake Atitlan region

India – Prajya Vihar School Project / meditation cushions send kids to school

Kenya – Lucky Beadworkers / traditional beadwork / mothers organize to raise funds for medical care and education

Laos – Women’s Work / silk weavings to support Laotian hill villages

Maryland – Local Fine Art and published works

Mexico – Sacred Art / yarn and bead items made by Huichol cooperatives

Nepal – Tibetan Spirit / pashmina shawls, prayer flags & singing bowls made by theTibetan refugee community

NepalShakti Blue / paper journals handmade by the Tibetan refugee community

Oregon – Pacifica / soaps and candles made by a family cottage industry

Siberia –  Tomsk Cooperative / Birch Bark carvings / Siberia

South Africa – Tink / telephone wire baskets and PVC bracelets to support needs of community

South Africa – Tink . low impact craft items made by Aids patients
