Sangha’s home and heart is the ‘Fair Trade’ store based in Takoma Park, Maryland, where art, artifacts, and craft creations are carefully assembled from artists, artisans, and producers from endangered cultures throughout the world.
Whether it’s beaded jewelry from Amazon tribes, figurines from former victims of South African apartheid, woven fabrics from Tibetan refugees, or silk bags & scarves from Cambodian land mine survivors, everything Sangha offers contributes to a tangible living wage for the individuals, families, or cooperatives creating and producing their personal artistic expressions.
Sangha’s ‘Fair Trade’ network enables indigenous and collective peoples throughout the world to support their families and sustain their centuries old cultures and traditions.
